What we do

Roof replacement

Full tear-off, new underlayment, new covering. Written scope with the material named, so you can price the same job elsewhere.

A replacement is a tear-off. Anyone quoting a new roof over the old covering is selling you a shorter roof, and in most cases a code problem.

The quote states the underlayment, the covering, the fastening pattern and the warranty — because those four things are the difference between two quotes that look identical on price.

Tear-off and deck inspection
We do not know what the deck looks like until the old covering is off. Rotten sheathing is priced per sheet, agreed before we replace it.
Underlayment
The layer that actually keeps water out. Named in the quote.
Covering and warranty
Manufacturer warranty plus our workmanship warranty, both in writing.

How a job goes

  1. We go up

A real inspection, not a walk around the garden. About an hour.

  2. You see the photographs

Every one we took, including the ones that argue against a replacement.

  3. Written scope

Materials named, warranty stated, price fixed. Nothing is "to be determined" except rotten deck, which is priced per sheet.

  4. The work

Our own crew. Skip and site protection included, and the driveway swept with a magnet at the end.

Book a roof inspection.

About an hour, at no cost, and you get the photographs whatever you decide.
